I always enjoy books on Saints. They give me much hope in my spiritual life. Two recent ones I've read are: Blessed Margaret of Castello and Solanus Casey (Venerable not Cannonized).
Also recently finished An Infinity of Little Hours about five men attemting to become a Carthusian Monks in the 60's. I enjoyed that very much.
I have a couple of books i can actually lend you too i forgot the names off hand but saturday i will bring them along. They where suggested by Mike Pilavachi director of Soul Survivor.

ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean by good?If it is 'light' reading, I suggest Purple Hibiscus by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.If not, I can suggest a book in French,but I'm sure it exists in English:Dieu existe, je l'ai rencontré by André Frossard.Pat
