'Deeper' Music Video

Filming of the Music Video for the song 'Deeper' is now completed. We had an 11 hour video shoot yesterday - it was a great challange but had a fantastic time!

Now things should calm down and I can dig deeper into my studies. Have some 40 kids coming over to the seminary over the next few days keeping us seminarians quite busy.

Today is A Full One!!

I just came back from playing and singing at a funeral (one-man-band), and I am soon off to play on campus at University (at 12:00 - noon!!). At 5:00pm I leave for a 'speaking appointment' at a drug rehab home, after which I rush to the south of Malta; to Bormla Parish to sing another number!

Prayers and Petitions!

I spent the major part of this afteroon, and will be spending my whole day tomorrow at Fgura Church in an attempt to doing some fund raising for the seminary. I just love the opportunity of being with the people which comes with it.

As regards music video, things are moving! Those of you that pray out there - please pray for this project ;) Hope to have it available online by next month!

Studies, Video!

Believe it or not, I have actually began studying ... considering that I will be sitting for finals this June, timing is quite fair. Though there is some pressure, studying somewhat relaxes me.

I have a busy week coming up next week, during which I will also be filming my very first music video (more news later)!

Refreshing!

Kids are such a gift to this world. I spent a few hours this morning animating a Lenten session for 90 Grade 8's (11 year-olds), and we had such a good time singing, dancing and listening to God's word. We concluded with a short time before the Blessed Sacrament.

Live Night

This Saturday night I will be participating in an unplugged event at Youth Fellowship's annual Come and See Weekend at the Ramla Bay Hotel.

I will be accompanied by Leana Grech (vocals) and Fredrick Grech on the Violin (Leana and Fred are not related, despite the common surname). I will be praying/playing a newly-penned song Deliver Me for the first time (first time in public that is!).

Big Day!

Today is a big day for me. . . I finally got down to cleaning my room! I organised my stuff and washed the floor.
Everything is so fresh, and believe it or not, my room actually looks bigger now - wierd!!

SongWriting Competition

Last Saturday I took part in a Christian songwriting festival which was organised by KDZ (local commission for Catholic youth). It was a great success despite the rainy weather. This event is an awesome initiative which, amongst many other things, works towards raising the standard of Christian music in Malta.

Leana and I sang 'Your Word is Enough' (a song I wrote for the event) accompanied by Jacob Portelli on the cello.

'Closer' in Canada!

My album 'Closer' is now also available in Canada, and seems to be doing quite well too! As of the 11th of April you can buy it online in Canada from Your Music Zone.

Back to Sicily!

I will be spending this weekend 900 meteres above the sea, in Montalbano Sicily. (It's a mere 20 minutes flight away from here). I am going up to spend some time with my spiritual 'mentor' Padre Giovanni Sacca'. I know I will have a great time. I will post some photos of my trip when I get back!
