A busy day... college then a talk to a Charismatic group here. I am loving public speaking... it is becoming less of a stress and more of a passion! This weekend I'll be giving the homilies here at the parish... should be a good experience!!
hey Rob! I will pray for all those ears who will listen to you! As, D. Bernard once said, 'Courage is the fear that has said its prayers'. So when you feel the butterflies(/caterpillars) before giving a speech, just offer it to God as part of your humanity which he will use to give his word!
"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go: I will counsel you and watch over you." Psalm 32:8
College has surely prepared you to make public speaking less daunting:) Since you are enjoying it, make the best out of it, especially since we are about to start a special time. Your parishioners will appreciate you even more for having shared with them the word of the Lord.Pat
